Appointment of Group Chief Operating Officer and Board Changes

Haydale (AIM: HAYD), the global advanced materials group, is pleased to announce that Keith Broadbent has been appointed as a Director of Haydale and as the Group's Chief Operating Officer ("COO") with immediate effect. Keith will have overall responsibility for the Group's global operations.
Keith has been the Managing Director of the Group's Resins, Polymers and Composites SBU for the last 12 months and, during that time, has demonstrated his strong commercial and operational expertise, particularly in improving efficiencies across the Group's UK capabilities, introducing and bringing on new customers, and creating a seamless one team approach incorporating all aspects of the Haydale offering.
Prior to joining Haydale, Keith held a number of senior operational and commercial positions which covered aerospace, automotive, defence, marine and medical sectors. His experience includes significant multi-site responsibilities in both the UK and internationally. The companies Keith has worked for include Princess Yachts International, Sunseeker, TT Electronics and most recently at Ultra Electronics. Keith has demonstrated a strong track record in the delivery of budgets, high level customer service and enhancing shareholder value.
Further to the Group's announcement of 13 June 2018, Haydale also announces that Ray Gibbs will remain on the Board as President, Business Development and David Banks, previously Non-Executive Chairman, has been appointed as the Group's Interim Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Roger Humm, currently non-executive director has today been appointed as the Group's Senior Independent Non-Executive Director.

Keith has demonstrated a strong track record in the delivery of budgets, high level customer service and enhancing shareholder value.
Further to the Group's announcement of 13 June 2018, Haydale also announces that Ray Gibbs will remain on the Board as President, Business Development and David Banks, previously Non-Executive Chairman, has been appointed as the Group's Interim Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Roger Humm, currently non-executive director has today been appointed as the Group's Senior Independent Non-Executive Director.
David Banks, Interim Executive Chairman of Haydale, commented: "As part of our strategy to widen the Group's management team, we are delighted that Keith has accepted this role as Group COO and has joined the Board of Directors. Over the last year, Keith has driven improvements in our UK operations and will now have overall responsibility for delivering on the Group's operational strategy. He will be working closely with our business development team to deliver on ours and our customers' objectives."

His interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company comprises options over 409,932 shares pursuant to an LTIP Award, details of which were announced on 18 December 2017. There is no further information to be disclosed about Keith Broadbent pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
